Make sure you are using SMTP authentication and port 27...

In Outlook Express...

Click on Tools

Click on Accounts

Click on the Mail tab

Highlight your mail account and click the properties button

On the "servers" tab, make sure "My Server Requires Authentication" is checked

On the "advanced" tab, make sure that the outgoing mail server is using port 27 rather than port 25

Click "apply" then "okay" then "close"
